Tube Cutting

Laser Tube Cutting

We provide laser cutting of round, square, and rectangular tubes made from ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including structural steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, and other alloys, based on technical drawings, DXF files, or project specifications. Laser metal cutting enables the production of parts with holes, slots, cutouts, and complex contours. We handle one-off and batch orders and provide a complete manufacturing process from cutting to finished parts.

Laser Tube Cutting

Laser tube cutting enables complex three-dimensional cutting operations to be performed in a single machining cycle. During the process, the tube is securely clamped and positioned in a CNC laser cutting machine, while controlled rotation allows cuts to be made on different sides of the tube or profile without manual repositioning. This ensures precise alignment of features and consistent part geometry across production batches.

This technology is particularly effective for manufacturing components used in frames, supports, structural assemblies, housings, and welded assemblies, where accurate fit between individual parts is essential. Tubes can be cut and shaped to minimize additional operations during assembly and welding. When required, we also provide subsequent manufacturing operations, delivering finished components or complete assemblies rather than just cut blanks.

How the Ordering Process Works

Technical Requirements Review

We review technical drawings or DXF files, part geometry, dimensions, and cutting requirements. If necessary, we clarify technical specifications before preparing a quotation.

Manufacturing Process Selection

We determine the most suitable cutting method based on the tube profile, material, wall thickness, contour complexity, and production volume.

Order Confirmation

Before production begins, we confirm the material, quantity, lead time, and total order cost.

Manufacturing and Delivery

We perform laser cutting and, when required, additional manufacturing operations to produce finished parts or assemblies. Once production is complete, we arrange order collection or delivery throughout Ukraine.

Laser Tube Cutting: Frequently Asked Questions

  • Indicative laser tube cutting prices start at UAH 20 per meter of cut for structural steel, UAH 30 for stainless steel, and UAH 35 for aluminum. For example, cutting structural steel with a wall thickness of 2 mm may cost around UAH 52 per meter of cut, while 4 mm steel may cost approximately UAH 108. The final price depends on the total cutting length, number of holes, wall thickness, and batch size. Send us your technical drawing, DXF file, or project specifications, and we will prepare a quotation with pricing and estimated lead times within 24 hours.

  • Lead times depend on batch size, part complexity, material availability, and production capacity. If an order involves welding, bending, machining, or other operations in addition to laser cutting, the entire manufacturing process is taken into account when determining the completion date.

  • You can submit technical drawings, DXF files, a 3D model in STEP format, or project specifications indicating the part geometry, dimensions, material, and required quantity. If the documentation is incomplete, we will clarify any missing details before preparing a quotation and starting production.

  • Yes. CNC laser cutting equipment can position and rotate the workpiece during cutting, allowing cuts to be made on different sides of the tube or profile. This makes it possible to produce complex geometries while maintaining precise alignment between individual features.

  • Yes. We can combine laser tube cutting with bending, welding, CNC turning and milling, grinding, heat treatment, and surface finishing. These operations can be integrated into a single manufacturing process, allowing you to receive a finished part, welded assembly, or complete structure rather than just cut tube blanks.

  • Indicative cutting capabilities include wall thicknesses of up to 20 mm for structural steel, 10 mm for stainless steel and aluminum, and 6 mm for copper and brass. Round tubes can have diameters of up to 220 mm, with workpiece lengths of up to 6,000 mm. Larger dimensions and special requirements are assessed individually.
